Sometimes, it’s all about value. Manufactured overseas and based on the Vietnam tomahawk, the SOG Fusion Tactical Tomahawk is an update of the battle ax optimized for breaching operations, excavation, obstacle removal and extraction. The no-frills 420 stainless-steel head is mounted to the fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle with heavy-duty bolts and a steel ferrule for stability. At a little less than 16 inches and 24 ounces, the Fusion ’hawk can get you through some tough spots without breaking the bank. Comes with a nylon sheath.

  1. Hello BeMistified,
I got mine for Christmas last year. This is an outstanding tool that is built very study and extremely sharp! I would recommend it to any one for light duty chopping or a cutting tool for a survival pack.
If you buy one I am sure you will be as pleased as I was. :-)

    Thanks for the comment.

  2. I wish I had experience with one. I'd like to know if it would be a useful tool to take with me on night hunts.

  3. @BWoodNC, I know someone who uses a SOG Tactical Tomahawk as a throwing hawk for dealing with deer and such. He also has another SOG Tac Hawk which he uses primarily for general camp & hunting chores.

    Thanks for the comment.
